Merlefest Bluegrass Festival

Merlefest is held on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.  Features the top acts in bluegrass, roots, and americana music and is host to over 80,000 participants. 

The 2008 artist Line-up included: Blue Highway, Sam Bush, John Cowan, Jerry Douglas, Donna the Buffalo, Hot Buttered Rum, The Infamous Stringdusters, Jim Lauderdale, Laurie Lewis, Claire Lynch, Nashville Bluegrass Band, Old Crowe Medicine Show, Tony Rice, Peter Rowan, Ricky Skaggs, Bruce Hornsby, Marty Stuart, Dan Tyminski, Rhonda Vincent, Doc Watson, and many more...
