Bluegrass Music Festival Guide

Bluegrass Music Festival Guide

Welcome to the world of bluegrass music.  Bluegrass as a music genre is more interacted with than listened to.  It requires interactivity. It says, "Hey, let's pick."  Grab your favorite instrument (banjo, fiddle, guitar, dobro, or bass are favorites), and find a place to jam with other like minded souls.

And that's where the bluegrass festival comes into play.  Not only can you hear great bluegrass music, you can team up with other like minded souls to pick and jam your heart away.

One of the top bluegrass music festivals is the Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Festival held in Rosine, Kentucky on the land where Bill Monroe was born and grew up. Held in September.

The Ralph Stanley Bluegrass Festival is held each year over the Memorial Day Weekend.  The Ralph Stanley Bluegrass Festival features the top bluegrass bands

Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival is host to two bluegrass festivals annually, one in May and one in August and is held in historic Gettysburg, PA.
